Glance ("the App") is a QR code and barcode scanner for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data.
We use Sentry, a third-party error tracking service, to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports help us identify and fix issues to improve app stability. Crash data is not linked to your identity and includes only technical information such as device type, OS version, and stack traces.
Scan history (scanned codes, timestamps, and content type) is stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to any server and can be deleted at any time from within the App.
The App uses your device camera solely to scan QR codes and barcodes. When you choose to scan from a photo, the image is processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No images are stored or transmitted.
When scanning a WiFi QR code, you may choose to join the network directly from the App. WiFi credentials are processed on-device and are not stored or shared.
The App uses Sentry for crash reporting. Please refer to Sentry's privacy policy for details on how they handle crash data.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
